Spicy Oatmeal

Ingredients:

5 cups boiling water
2 sticks cinnamon, left whole
1/2 cup raisins
2 cups rolled oats
Pinch of nutmeg
Honey to taste

Method:

  1. Place oatmeal and cinnamon into saucepan over low heat
  2. Add water and stir over heat until oatmeal is soft and thick (If desired, add in more or milk of your choice to achieve a smoother consistency)
  3. Add raisins and nutmeg
  4. Take off heat and serve immediately with honey to taste.

Serves 3-4
