Ingredients:
5 cups boiling water
2 sticks cinnamon, left whole
1/2 cup raisins
2 cups rolled oats
Pinch of nutmeg
Honey to taste
Method:
- Place oatmeal and cinnamon into saucepan over low heat
- Add water and stir over heat until oatmeal is soft and thick (If desired, add in more or milk of your choice to achieve a smoother consistency)
- Add raisins and nutmeg
- Take off heat and serve immediately with honey to taste.
